Inflammatory bowel disease is a condition in which the muscles of colon contracts more often than in people with irritable bowel disease. Some of the symptoms of Irritable bowel disease include bloating, alternating constipation, diarrhoea, change in bowel habits, excess gas, and abdominal pain, and cramps. The condition can be treated by avoiding caffeine, increasing fibrous content in the diet, monitoring which foods actually trigger irritable bowel disease, minimizing stress, and sometimes taking medications prescribed by your gastroenterologist
